This series is a lot of fun! The contributions have been outstanding – some witty, some thoughtful, but all worth reading.

I couldn’t finish my entry last night, so I posted it first thing today! Sorry it’s late. Not sure where I should notify you, but here it is: http://www.filmflare.pt/2014/04/great-villains-blogathon-johnnie.html
Thanks for hosting, it was a real pleasure writing about Johnnie 😀

Hey Sofia! No trouble at all. I will include your post in tonight’s recap. Looking forward to reading more about the sinister Johnnie A. …who turned out to be a wimp in the end. (Stupid studio!)

Ruth, Karen, Kristina, you gals and the rest of the all-star cast of villains here at the Great Villain Blogathon have outdone yourselves! 🙂 By the way, I’ve always had a different take on Johnnie in SUSPICION; I say Lina wasn’t really a simpering lady in distress, but really a paranoid who thought everyone was giving everyone the Hairy Eyeball, kinda like that episode of ALFRED HITCHCOCK PRESENTS, with Vera Miles thinking she sees her attacker (I won’t say more in case anyone here doesn’t know the big twist). I’ve been having a ball with you all, and I thank you for including me, as always! Hugs to all!

You’ve made a good point, Dorian. I’m going to think about that the next time I watch “Suspicion”.
Thanks again for joining us with your terrific “Psycho” review! 🙂

And thank you as well, dear Ruth! Has this been an awesome blogathon, or what? 😀
P.S.: The Blogathon fun seems never-ending for Team Bartilucci, not that there’s anything necessarily wrong with that! With April coming soon, I’ve already committed myself to THERE’S ALWAYS A WOMAN for Backlots’ Romantic Comedy Blogathon with our beloved Mary Astor, Melvin Douglass and Joan Blondell. Later in May, we’ll taking part in the CMBA Fabulous Films of the 1950s with our fave, Alfred Hitchcock, for the 1956 version of THE MAN WHO KNEW TOO MUCH starring James Stewart and Doris Day! The excitement never ends, it seems! I need an itinerary! 🙂 Thanks for letting me and the gang play in your garden, my friend! 😀

There’s a lot going on, isn’t there!
OOh – I’m looking forward to reading your “There’s Always a Woman” post, but especially your “The Man Who Knew Too Much” post. I LOVE Doris Day in that movie.
I was thinking, when everything settles down…I’d love to do another blogathon with you. Maybe later in the summer or in the fall?

Aw, Ruth, I’d be delighted to have us team up again after our success with our Mary Astor Blogathon, and besides, it’s just plain fun! Unless I’m getting addled after all these amazing Blogathons, I seem to remember one or both of us suggesting an Agnes Moorehead Blogathon one of these days (or months, so we can recover from the latest one! :-)). If that’s not your cup of tea, no tragedy; it’s just that I’ve always thought Agnes has done so many great movies, TV shows, and Broadway, and she’s a remarkable person. (My favorite of her roles is DARK PASSAGE.). Please let me know what you think. Thanks for being a dear pal as well as an awesome blogger, and have a wonderful day for you and yours!
