Oh cool–it’s a lesser known film, but it’s a Disney live-action with the two children who were in Mary Poppins, and it’s based on an early Upton Sinclair book—one of his books for children. Very surreal. I remember being entranced by it as a kid, not knowing whether I loved or hated it. Excited to see the other entries!

Let’s shoot for the 22nd. I just realized that I also have a Point Blank review (from last year), so I guess that can be an alternate take on that classic (as it’s a film open to ALL sorts of interpretations). This is SUCH a good year that I know every post will be worth a read…

Updaaaate: I couldn’t sleep (hey, it happens when you turn 50 and realize you’re 50!), so I ended up watching The War Wagon and writing it up about a half hour ago. Such a fun flick all around! Add it to the 20th, as I see that day needs more movies. I’ll be watching The Graduate a few times over the next few weeks because I know a few people who’ve yet to see it and I want to introduce them all to it as I write.

Oh no! I made a mistake. Shadows & Satin had already signed up for “Wait Until Dark”, but I put it on the list as “A Shot in the Dark” for some reason. (??) Anyway, having a duplicate isn’t a problem for us if it isn’t a concern for you? Anything you decide is A-OK by us. 🙂

I love this idea!! So many amazing films were released in ’67, I had a hard time picking one, but please could I cover Bonnie & Clyde? It’s a classic!

I’m sure it’ll be very relevant to today’s world, where there are some people who make a six-figure career out of filming their daily lives. Reviews on Netflix are mixed but it’ll definitely be an interesting watch! I look forward to posting about it for this blogathon! 🙂
