    A great collection of movies; I’ll be reading the essays over the next day or three. Loads pf thanks, Ruth, to you and Christina for having put this event together.

    Quite a few of my favorite movies are science-based movies about scientists, like A Beautiful Mind, Infinity, The Man who Knew Infinity, The Imitation Game, The Theory of Everything . . . For this blogathon’s 2018 iteration I’d love, if I have time, to post about a few of the movies in that (sub)genre.

    Hm. I’ve been thinking for a while about starting a site to reflect my love for science/history of science. Perhaps this is the ideal excuse . . . but, y’know, so little time . . .

      The topic for next year sounds really good.

      As for a Science Blog, THAT is an amazing idea. I realize time is an issue, but if you do go ahead with it, sign me up as a follower.

    It was a fun blogathon and you did a great job as host. I was especially glad to see someone review THE MAN WITH TWO BRAINS, which is one of Steve Martin’s funniest (and which rarely gets shown).

      Christina is a terrific co-host, which always makes this a fun event.

      You know, I’ve never seen “The Man with Two Brains”, but it looks like a terrific film. Am going to track it down at the library.
