It’s a Czech sci-fi film. Seems to have a cult following… Admittedly, I’ve not seen it yet, so we’ll see how it goes.

I’ve reviewed it before as a wee review but love to look at it in more depth, but do get your tissues ready its such a soppy story and the soundtrack is wonderful too. Funny you said that my husband said I should do that one too!!

Hi, while watching Arrival recently I noticed that it has a similar theme to Peggy Sue Got Married, even though the films are very different. I’d like to write about how the two films are alike/unalike. Thanks!

Although I am over committing to blogathons these days I simply can’t resist this one. Terrific topic and hosted by two favorites. 😉 I almost went with THE THREE STOOGES MEET HERCULES, but decided on BACK TO THE FUTURE, which I’ve been meaning to rewatch for some time. If I can manage the series I will do that.

This is great! Can I do a double (or triple) header of Twilight Zone alumni: “For All Time” (2000, based on the Twilight Zone episode “A Stop in Willoughby”) and “Somewhere in Time” (1980, based on a Richard Matheson novel).

Nuts! I didn’t see it up there on the list. If it’s okay, I’d still like to do it though. As part of a multi-film review based on the theme of lonely guys finding true love in the past, maybe it will bring something to complement rather than compete with the other review. That or I can just shelve it until next year’s 😉

Actually would you class “All This, and Heaven Too” ( 1940 ) as a time travel movie? The film is told is told in flashbacks of the past?

Hi Ruth. I’m extremely sorry that I’m late yet again. I was unexpectedly called out of town on the weekend and I didn’t have internet access on my computer, only on my phone. I did however manage to write out half of my time travel post for the blogathon before I left, but because of the internet connection I couldn’t complete it there. I am however finishing off my article now, and I will send it to you as soon as its ready.
